  The house itself was in need of some all round maintenance but there was nothing major that affected our stay. The A/C kept the whole house cool on days that were above 30 degrees. The 5hp boat that was advertised with the house was broken for the first 4 days of our trip. When we reported that it wouldn't start it took 3 days for the groundskeeper of the house to fix it for us.

  We recently stayed here. The location is perfect and we had a great time. Except for the spa not working, no gas for the BBQ, not all hot plates on the stove worked properly, The TV and DVD player only worked once out of the four days we were there, and the response we got was that it was our fault and she is not a television mechanic so it can't be fixed.The downstairs was freezing as there was no air con or fire downstairs. Also there was no tea, coffee and sugar in the pantry like it mentioned, also no salt and pepper and the bathrooms didn't have any hand soap. The service was just rude. DO NOT STAY HERE!

  Stayed here this time last year. Owner/manager perhaps one of the rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I just wanted to clarify how the paypal deposit situation worked over the phone and she ended up being so patronising I just hung up on her. If she didn't have our deposit I would have pulled the pin then and there. Have stayed around Australia and the world and have never been spoken to like this in my life in a hotel, B&B or anywhere else. Unbelievable!

  We stayed here as a group of eleven 18 year old school leavers for 7 days. The location of the house was perfect and we had a great all round trip. However, upon arrival the owner/manager spoke to us as though we were children, acting condescendingly towards us the whole time. We were extremely thorough when taking note of previous damage in the house as we suspected we would be targeted in an attempt to make us lose our bond. Thanks to this we received our full bond back.

  Place itself - great location and good for families. A little tired to be labelled luxury though.
